JDV or JDI box?

hi everyone
i want to buy a DI box mainly use it to capture a great quality dry signal from the guitar in order to reamp it later with the X-amp
i have a 7-string ibanez 1527 with seymour duncan active pickups.
which one do you think is better?

if you are capturing a guitar, that is a mono instrument, why not just get the J48?

I have heard DIs recorded with JDI and JDV using EMGs and JDI was slightly better in that case.

Ok NOOB reamping alert!!!! I would still need a DI-box and a Reampbox if i where to record a guitar and then reamp it later on?

Are there any boxes out there that can offer both?

out of those two choices I would go for the JDV it has alot of options. and the other one appears to just be 2 di boxes in one unit. I have the J48 it's awesome but I have been wanting to get the JDV so I can have dedicated line out to the stobe tuner.(unfortunately If my tuner is in line with the amp it causes a buzz)

if you don't need the options the j48 probably sounds exactly the same as the jdv.

JDV has much higher impedance (up to 3.9 MOhm) than J48 (220 kOhm), so, maybe, with active pickups sound will be the same, but for passive pickups maybe not exactly.
