Is that the case? If so I don't get it. Did they just use him for a tour. Does Anthrax really think they will be able to get another new singer at this point in their career and be successful? I don't get it. The audiences with Joey back on stage were huge and is what the majority of Anthrax the fans want. Why fuck with that? They must really hate each other to not be able to do this

I haven't been on this forum in a while so if this has been beaten to death I apologize
 
Whilst I agree that i would be almost imposible for Anthrax to take on another vocalist and match their past success, i dont think the reunion was as successful as the pro Joey lobby make out. Bring back Bush or pack it in.

I saw them 3 times since Joey has been back and all 3 shows were sold out and it was like seeing them in 1990. They were fuckin amazing and the crowds were intense. I have no idea why they would get rid of Joey at this point. These guys don't need to be re-inventing themselves this late in their careers. Even if they go back to Bush people are going to lose interest (except for the die hards on this forum) I really believe their only chance for a successful album and tour is to do a record with Joey. They could get on a major tour with a band like Slayer, Iron Maiden, Etc Etc. With Bush or a new singer they stand no chance of that.

I was going to White Castle once a week for a while. I don't wanna talk about why, but I've had to slow down on that!:erk: :lol:

I agree it's too late to expect reliving past glory, but Bush won't pack them in. Bush is a good singer, but really only a few Anthrax fans care. He won't win over new fans or bring in old ones who are not into 'thrax any more.

After hitting my city every single fucking tour in the classic Joey years, it still pisses me off to no end that they didn't come to San Antonio for their reunion tour. :mad: Now my chance of seeing the classic line-up again stands at complete zero.

For what?
Charlie mid-tour: well Bush is better and well we're just touring for money and I am so unhappy right now and I don't feel motivated...

Charlie post-tour: well sorry Joey left we left the door open and wanted to do another album with him and we tried to work it out...........:rolleyes:
