It's not tight on the palm mutes...
For all the lovers and the haters:
It's not my intention to promote the physical guitarists' disappearance, just like the use of virtual drums does NOT promote the drummers'. In fact, it NEVER was. I really love playing real instruments. It's just a tool that I use for the sake of my creativity. There is not why to take the things out of context.
Just listen and enjoy. Simple as that.
Peace.
i havent read half of this thread
but im going to say the following:
1. no, im not trying to get this to replace guitar players, quite the opposite actually
2. i'm still not convinced, yet
3. i have plans to do something "fresh" with it at some point, but no one will even hear it for a really long time (if it comes far along enough to be less synthetic)
4. this has nothing to do with bands i record or projects i work on for other people.
finally: vst's will never replace real players
Replying what you said:
1.- Amen for that
2.- Keep in mind Electri6ity is more focused on pop-rock stuff. I've used a Fender Stratocaster to make this clip.
3.- In that case, you'd wait for a metal virtual electric guitar library... which is not on markets... yet
4.- Your own stuff and demos, I guess.
Finally: As I said before, vst's are just a musical tool.
I'm sure most people would've been fooled by this if no one told them.
It's not as horrible as people are making it out to be. I'm sure most people would've been fooled by this if no one told them. I'm almost finished with the guitar sample library I've created for Metal. After using so many over the past 10 years, I've learned the secret in making a guitar sample library sound good. It was very time consuming and technical but the results, so far, are great.
waw great sound, i didn't expect that it has kind of real guitar sound!
It's easy to fool me but dude did you forgot that on this forum are participating guitarist with lots of very very expensive hardware equipment, power amps, cabs, mics, people like Goddamn Guitar, guitarists like Mago, producers like Ermz,Ryan,Joey.I think you can't fool them especially with this tone!
Javi I just want to say that for a virtual guitar tone test it's WOW!But it's not close to the real guitar tone and in some parts it's recognizable very much.I appreciate you as a musician very much and I like most of your virtual tones and Meshuggah covers!Keep up the good work!
