Joey Sturgis, here you are a fast palm mute test with Electri6ity!

It sounds killer, Javi! Although, I think there are some tweaks that could be made yet to improve realism, but you also have to consider what kind of sound you are going after. There's nothing wrong with a little syntheticism (is that even a word?). In the stuff I'm writing w/Electri6ity, I'm looking to make it sound fairly realistic but expect a touch of synthetics. I can only go so far with the realism, especially since everything is hard quantized. I refuse to loosen it up or I'll be spending more time doing that than writing songs. Besides, I'm not trying to fool anyone with anything that I write. It's all softsynths and I'm terrible at playing any instruments. One day I'll teach myself the guitar, but with too much shit going on IRL, that day is yet far away.

Pretty cool. Kinda sounds like if someone was using the edge of the pick though. Scratchy like. For slower stuff, you know simple chord chops, I think it could pass as real in a mix. Would like to hear more.

It's easy to fool me but dude did you forgot that on this forum are participating guitarist with lots of very very expensive hardware equipment, power amps, cabs, mics, people like Goddamn Guitar, guitarists like Mago, producers like Ermz,Ryan,Joey.I think you can't fool them especially with this tone!

Well let's keep in mind that this isn't based on the actual tone of the guitar but rather the programming and library samples. I've been using sophisticated guitar sample libraries for around 10 years so I feel very comfortable determining whether a guitar is real sounding or not. I've fooled some top producers with fake guitars, a lot of them have just switched over rather than hiring a session musician.

Javi- I'll keep you updated on the BETA testing! I'm in negotiations with a well known company specializing in high quality instrument emulation, so I'm not sure if I'll be doing a trial run before I possibly sell it to them.

Dude you suggest that we should sell our guitars? What will happen when you go on a photo session for your new CD(for example)? You will picture your self with your computer and virtual plugin on the screen?

Hey Javi is there any chance you'd be willing to post your nki/nkm preset for Electri6ity. I've been doing alot of research and seeing what other people are doing and trying to put togehter some "down pat metal presets". Because there are soo many things to tweak in Electri6ity it can be a task for most.

My main issue is your pal mutes are beautiful. But I can't seem to get quite that cleaness with mine. I use the palm mute key switches but still.

So is there any chance you'd post it or email me a copy at nrg99@hushmail.com?

I've had this library for almost 3-4 months and nothing close to the cleaness of your palm mutes. Just amazing.
