Besides the drama with the among the living line up...I say that john bush is an amazing singer..for a singer to still sing that good...it's very rare..u got maybe bruce dickinson,sammy hagar, rob halford,geoff tate..just to name a few that can still keep their voices up there...in which i'm sure it's hard to do as u get older..joey belladonna and david lee roth even.. singing wise... is just not like it used to be....but then again that is my opinion...

one of my fav songs from john is BARE..a song about being departed by a love one, (according to a john interview i read when stomp was released in "95").. i think it's a tear jerker:waah: ..I mean u can really hear john singing his heart out to that song.. and I love it....:rock:

what are your fav John's song!!!:)
 
Bare is a great song - quite a little gem actually and yes it's a pretty emotional song for anyone who has lost a loved one.

I always think of John Bush as being one of the best up there with those singers you mentioned especially Bruce. Why else would Lars want him back in the day when Metallica was starting out! Im glad he didnt join though cause Hetfields one of my fave singers too.

You cans ay all you want regarding either John or Joey but Joey proved during the runion tuor he might even sing better than he used to in 1987! just get the NFV video and put it next to alive II. If you didn't liked his voice back then you won't like it now but he can definately still deliver the goods.

He wrote Bare for his mother after his father passed away. I really like the song, the lyrics are great. That's why I have a tatt (that still needs more work) inspired by it.

There needs to be more of that, I'm a Bush guy but I don't clammer aroung talking about how bad Joey sucks. I think he's a good singer.
