I really liked the last one, so I can't answer that question.

I only listened to it once and I was drinking beer, so further listening shall be required. I definitely liked it though.

The last one had some killer songs, it just reminded me of most mainstream rock albums; three or four excellent songs, and 8 songs of filler. Sorry, but Ill be pikcing the new one up no matter what.

well I downloaded the new QOTSA,and it is pretty good. Some nice groovy songs, and bunch of quirky ones. A far more cohesive effort, but it doesnt have that one great song Homme always seems to create.

At first I didn't like it, but it quickly got better, and now it's getting good. There are three REALLY good songs, Cowboys Suck, Angry American, and Life, but the rest are varied enough that it remains real interesting. I've listened to it enough times to be able to maintain that

Unida > Hermano

but the shit still rocks.
