John Greely

I really like his voice and his work on Night of the Stormrider. Anyways, does anyone know if he is/was in any other bands?

I'm not a big fan of his voice, personally.

Then again, all I've heard off of NotSR is Angel's Holocaust, but still. I think he even ranks below Owens for me.

That would explain why I only like Night of the Stormrider when it comes to vocals.

I like his voice because it's a mix of different styles. He fits the original idea of Iced Earth, where he mixes thrash vocals with clean early heavy metal vocals.

I always thought that Iced Earth had great vocals and great music and that the two didn't fit together at all.

That's why I love NotSR so much. It seems like it fits much more than with Barlow. I like Barlow and all, but they changed their style.
