(of course, he'll now deny that and make it appear that I misunderstood what he was saying... unless Spawny is wrong, which is certainly possible seeing as he was brought up listening to European black metal and not American rock)

OK OK people enough of the squabbling.
spawn was right in the fact that Alec played on all the albums upntil NJ.
Thus here after he was fired from the band once recording on NJ was finished.(he can now be found repairing motorbikes somewhere in New Jersey).The reason that came through the most resulting in his departure from the band was that his lack of contribution and dedication to the band.The process of recording the last album he played on was delayed a considerable amount due to him not showing on many days he was meant to be there.So in general he was being the right royal pain in the ass and never really fit into the whole outfit anyway,this can be really seen on the Access All Areas video....you can tell the band are not that fond of him and put up with him.

He did the New Jersey tour as well, he was fired before Keep The Faiths sessions started (But im presuming you knwo that seeing as you have watched the AAA video, which rocks!)

He also now lives on a houseboat and married his ex wife again (the woman he was with before he even joined Bon Jovi apparently)

Yeah your right here but it was simply out of contract he did the tour...they couldn't kick him out b4 it as they had already booked a stack of shows and no time to deal with it then.
