Yeah, I guess they reopened a few months ago.

The place is about half the size it was also. I haven't been there for any bands, but I don't think they have nearly the stage or sound equipment they used to.

The stage was always too low so unless you were close you couldn't see especially when Jon was sitting at his keyboard. I also had to immediately strip as soon as I got home because my clothes smelled horrible from cigarette smoke.

I had no idea Bourbon Street had reopened. That's good news. I've seen some killer shows there. Hope they continue.

JON OLIVA - More Details Of Solo Album Listening Party In New Port Richey This Saturday Revealed

Drummer/producer Chris Kinder has checked in with the following update:
"Jon and I have worked out a killer 45 minute acoustic set to compliment the prior one hour CD listening party set to begin about 8:30 pm. We look forward to seeing you there. Doors at 8:00pm....don't be late!"

Would be cool to do a tour again with CIIC, as both have new albums out.
