I post this here rather than the other side because its so interesting that this interview is right in line with our Quintessential metal thread and some other recent talk.

As for the video at the bottom, sounds great, he even lays out his trademark screach a few times... not the same but at least he's still chasing the dragon. However.... I knew he was gaining weight but HOLY SHIT MAN :OMG: he's killing himself.

His first solo disc was great. It was Savatage 2.0. Second one was good, but now we're at Three and it seems more like B-sides from the tried and true formula.
 
thats what die hard old Savatage fans want, they want the old straight up Savatage, I like the entire library myself, that I have that is, which is from Mountain King on. Just a few songs "lying around" from some of the earlier albums.
