JTW IR Tone Test

Here is a tone test using the Rose of Sharyn DI's. I used the new Sturgis JTW impulse pack with TSE X50 and Lecto. What do you think?

3 is the best. My hands sound horrible with the first two unfortunately. Give these a shot with the venerable SpresHigh and see how they stack up maybe?

yeah that is going to be the next IR I try. Thanks for the DI btw. Great for tone testing! Just wish there was the MIDI for the drums and bass! Can't complain though it's great either way.

I would love to hear how my Recto cab 57 API impulse compares to the Sturgis one.

the amp settings were the same for all tests. The only thing I changed was the post eq which I changed very very little.

x50 for the amp sim (all knobs at noon) and no post eq.

The cab used was a MESA oversized 4X12 with a blend of the sm57 and d6.

For those interested, I have other examples of my impulse being used in various genres and different mixes from different people.

Sooner than later, I'll be doing a big package with 3 cabs (orange marshall, mesa) with over 10 different mics, placements and combinaisons.
