Judas Preist - Defenders of the Faith underrated?

I have always felt that this great Priest album has been overlooked. And it's a shame, because it's a damn good album! It features Preist classics such as Freewheel Burning, Some Heads Are Gonna Roll, and Eat Me Alive. But like I said, I've always felt this has been overlooked and underrated. Anyone else agree?

I remember a couple of years ago, Jawbreaker and The Sentinel were my two favourite Priest songs. I haven't listened to it for so long, though, and my tastes have radically changed.

Most Priest fans talk about it as being one of the best Priest albums.

What he said. Defenders is generally praised to the skies by most Priest fans. I think it might even be a little overrated, though not by much.

It's rated just fine. Screaming for Vengeance certainly has a notch up on it, but The Sentinel rules.

Not underrated at all. As previously stated, many Priest fans consider this the best.

I absolutely love that album. And furthermore am eternally grateful I got to see them on that tour at the Niagara Falls Convention Center in 84. They had a life sized representation the Metallian incorporated into their large stage set up.
Total killer show for an ass kicking album.

Not sure about over or underrated, but it is one damn fine album. I hear to much talk about Painkiller myself. It's a good album and all, but I consider it the most overrated of priest releases.
