Two questions on the above subject:

1. Did Les Binks leave because of his diabetes? I'm the son of a diabetic so I know it's easier to control today than it was 25 years ago, but it still seems a pretty poor reason to leave a band whose career was on the rise.

2. Was Screaming For Vengeance the last album (not tour) that Dave Holland played on? Anyone with ears can tell that percussion on Turbo and Ram It Down was supplied by a machine, and now I think about it, Defenders sounds a little manufactured in the drum department too.

Dave Holland left after Ram it Down. Defenders and Turbo was dave on drums, but ram it down was a drum machine.

Yeah, what Iccy said. All good though, the drum machine on Ram It Down sounds cool, and Travis is a fucking huge drummer and the band are better to have him.

Yes - your right. I have a video of the ram it down tour with Holland playing all the material off the "Ram" album though - some people thought they used a drum machine as he was unable to play the material. Not the case....he was just off molesting young boys!

Yeah, I thought he was still in the band after Ram It Down, so was unsure as to why they actually did use the drum machine.
