Can you hear that it's only double tracked? Some guys play pretty tight. I always thought Andy did both and on the solo sections it does seem the guitars drop back in the mix. So it's either 2 guitars falling out, or they are automating levels to make room.

it's double tracked, JVM410 on one side, 5153 on the other.
rh guits most likely just atomated down a bit during solos

Awesome band. So long together, but still such a cool and highly recognizable sound.

Pick up "Painkiller", "British Steel", "Screaming for Vengeance", and "Defenders of the Faith". People will also tell you to check out their 70's output. It's great as well, but I generally prefer their 80's albums.

I love all the Priest albums, but my favorites are the 70's ones.
