I never put a verb on the 2buss not even when mastering. I tried once and it did work for me but it depends on the mix, what you're after in term of general color and the music style I guess...

i cant imagine a single style of music where i would put it on the 2buss over individual stems. but there are no rules when it comes to mixing so if it works it works i guess.

Tiny amounts of verb on the master bus can help "glue" things a bit together but I never use it personally. As always, try and see what it's like. It's good if it sounds good.

I use a tiny, tiny amount (like 2% or less) of room verb when mastering in Ozone.

You should rename the band from ""Experimental Rock Like Tool and Devin Townsend" to ""Experimental Rock with 2% or Less Room Verb". or E.R.W.T.P.O.L.R.V for short. It will be easier for impatient fans to call out at gigs.
