Hi guys. I'm Shura. Some may remember me as a former dj for KWTF, and I may have met a some at NAMM 2008 and 2009. Been lurking for a while an finally decided to join.
Although I am a musician, I don't have a band. I play violin, and I sing in my car, so far, it hasn't kicked me out yet. I own a gorgeous guitar, just wish I could play it, and am a fan of vintage tube amps.
I like music that is good. If the members can play their instruments, and singer can sing in key, there is a catchy melody and a riff and lyrics that don't sound like they've been written by 12 year old, I'm game. And no cookie monster for me.

You should be able to learn to play guitar via online courses, it should be easier if you already know an instrument.
