Would anyone here touch them with a 10' pole? Particularly the Korean manufactured pieces produced the past couple of years. I'm personally down on a preorder for a Bird of Prey atm for my first 7-string. Ever since the WRMG was discontinued, I've been looking for "That Shape" :notworthy Even if it wasn't a 7-string. The current lower-end jackson warriors have a reversed headstock which to me looks a bit silly on that body shape : /

And if I were to ever get a custom jackson, it'd have to be one of them extreme warrior body styles :)

Anyways! Thoughts from the community?

Yes, I've played a DBZ Bird of Prey (I think it had EMG's) way back in 2010.

Played well, though I don't remember all too much. I think the neck was comparable to that of Dean (which makes sense since they come from the original creator of Dean guitars IIRC) necks, so not too thick but not Ibanez thin either. Maybe in the middle? I always wanted to buy a DBZ but the lack of money at the time meant that I couldn't.

I'd say the Jackson X series guitars are okay. I'd take a DBZ over one of them any day, however.

Maybe look into the Ibanez Xiphos too? Or an ESP Gus G signature?
