Apologies to anybody I pissed off a while ago by replying to posts with that sleeping emoticon. I think I took it too far, to the point that it was no longer funny, if it ever was. Still, I've never been an insider here, so I doubt any of you held any grudges. Perhaps I'm aiming the above solely at Doomcifer who seemed to get pretty mad at me near the end. Sorry, bro.

Clarification: I was banned for a few days only, not exactly sure how long, but I just decided to take a break from the forums for a while.
I appreciate the effort.
Some creepy British kid in GMD called me a "retarded inbred cowboy" because I said "fuck England" for having retarded grammar rules, so I said that that's funny given the obvious genetic deformities evident in his face characteristic of inbreeding. He said that his father isn't even from England, then I said "He's from Africa. Just look at those humungus lips. [he really does have gigantic my pals lips]" For context (and for those who have signatures turned off), he said this in response to a little kid who saw him walking by and asked his grandmother "what is it?" since he looks kind of androgynous: "Anyway no one else other than that little kid has ever said that. For the record I called him a retard to his face in front of his grandmother." Unfortunately he deleted that and related posts and the posts I was banned for got deleted too.
That's pretty much a pile of bullshit since being politically correct is more of a semantic game than a set of beliefs. I don't consider it politically correct to think that gays should be able to marry or that blacks are not genetically inferior. What's PC is telling somebody that they're bad people for making racist jokes and things of that nature.

I'm still alive. I guess I've just become completely enthralled with expanding my business (farming). We live in a time when farming is going through huge changes. Little farms are dying at an even faster rate, and somebody has to be here to farm the land they give up/get taken from them.
I'm also building a house and trying to raise a 6 month old daughter. I'll try and drop in more often.

I really want to be a farmer. Probably not though, if I knew what was really involved. It'd still rule to drive a tractor though.

hey Nate, what kind of stuff do you guys grow/produce? i am currently working for an organic farm here in CT, and I have plans to put a small greenhouse on my property at home. my goal is to distribute some local tomatoes/spinach/etc around here so people don't have to drive 30 minutes for good produce.

As somebody who had a garden + greenhouse all my childhood. Find an animal farm and offer to shovel lots of their shit into garbage cans and take it away for your garden. A 60% compost 40% shit mix works pretty good. Not too much shit cause there was SOMETHING in it that can burn the roots (nitrate?).
CHicken shit is bad. horse/cow/pig. With horse shit theres a lot of still living seeds, so expect weeds.
