wow, i was so impressed. these guys should make a live dvd! amazing live. the lead singer had a stage presence like hulk hogan. i'm pretty new to the band, and i definetly will be buying some cds. what would be the best to start out with? i'm looking for darker stuff, more minor keys, lotsa awesome guitarplaying.

Get Divine Wings of Tragedy and Twilight in Olympus if you want minor stuff and more guitar. V's my personal favorite - very symphonic, and a concept album... but still heavy as hell. Odyssey is the heaviest. The Damnation Game's songs aren't quite as good, but it's got some crazy ass guitar playing and is dark most of the time. And the demo... well, the instrumental technique is out of this world, but the vocals... not quite as good. That's my quick review of each album, and I'm sure other people might have their own take on each one - take your pick based on what you want.

Divine Wings is the best to start out with, because it has a little bit of everything, and all in the perfect balance. V is my favorite, too, so get that next, followed by the rest all at the same time :)

I saw them last week in Fort Wayne. Gigantour was a blast, and S-X was one of the highlights for me (I had never heard them except for one download). I bought the new CD and got it signed, had a great time with all the bands (well, almost all ;). Now I just hope to see S-X headline a tour so they can have more time and space to perform!

Moomcoach - it is a lot more fun to see SX on their own tour, since they get to play more than fast, heavy songs. Those rock and everything, but it sucked to not see one of the Accolades or something.
