It's only 10 seconds, but I just wanted to see if it isn't total garbage.
It's a part out of Bleeding Skies - Chlorine, but in drop b.

Drums are s2.0, guitars are through a pod 2.0, and bass is guitar dropped down an octave

Anybody have any tips?

Phew, you have alot to learn my friend. You can do some damage with a pod and ez drummer stuff. Just record, record, record. Mix mix mix. Master master master. Thats the only way to get better at this stuff man. Just keep doing it. Use references. Periphery for example, i see you like them and djenty stuff, use their songs to help tweak yours. Honestly the drums are not all that bad. But im through stereo speakers right now and they are not exactly truthful speakers. Idk dude just keep doing what your doing. ALOT.

not bad for your first stuff, but like ForceTheTriggerSucks said, you have plenty of things to learn. like superior for example, turn on those room/ambient mics. and for the guitars, i'd mess with the eq a bit to bring up the brightness, cause right now you're in mud city. and never settle for a certain "perfect" mix. constantly tweak stuff to see what sounds good to you + the customer. but not bad man, just record, mix and master all the time

"do damage" as in make good music? or.. the opposite lol?

and i plan on doing this a lot. i've always wanted to record my own music so i plan on working at this a ton until i can make stuff that sounds good :p

is this any better? i tried making it a little brighter, and used a different cab
