I was just flipping through the book from PPV, and Thomas mentioned that they'd play a song from the new album at the show. I don't remember hearing anything unfamilar...does anybody remember what the song from Black Halo was that they played?

All I know is I wish they would tour the US!!!! Helllllooooooooo. The Black Halo is going to hit for them, I know it. Its friggen awesome!!! I just hope they can finally get that US tour they deserve.

Its funny the said they have never toured the US or Norway? Trip that members are from here and there.

I saw Kamelot here in Barcelona on Monday. They played several songs from The Black Halo including:March of Mephisto, When the Lights are Down, The Haunting, Soul Society, The Black Halo and This Pain. They also played lots of songs from Epica, but unfortunately only played three from Karma (their best album IMO) and one from Fourth Legacy (Nights of Arabia). I definitely think the setlist could have been much better. For the female vocales they had Simone from Epica (Epica opened the concert) and on March of Mephisto they had Mark from Epica doing death/black vocals. Overall, they put up a good show full of energy but setlist could have been better. One thing I don't like about Kamelot live is the "weak" guitar sound...its the second time I've seen them and on both occasiones I was disappointed with the guitar sound.
Epica was IMO the strongest band that night even though they only played for about 35 minutes, but I had already seen them as headlniers once before and they are definitely a great live band...they have a very good live sound and good stage presence.
Kotipelto was the second band...they played very professionally and Timo sings perfect live, but the music just does not impress me. They played a couple of Strato songs: Hunting High and Low and Black Diamond (highlight of their set).
Overall it was a very good concert.

I have never been able too see Kamelot live, but I have seen several live recordings and I definately think they should find a 2nd guitar player to at least tour with them if not join the band. When I first heard of them I was blown away and was very surprised when I saw that only Thomas is playing guitar live. So many parts of their songs have multiple guitar parts recorded and it would make for a fuller and more complete live sound to have another guitar player....it couldn't be too hard to find someone who would want to join the band. I'd be glad too! I even use the same HD147 Thomas does! I just don't know that I'd be able to keep up with him!
