They announced a lot more US tour dates today. For those unfamiliar, fans of Fair to Midland, The Apex Theory, Cog, Opus Dai..in the Prog/Alt Metal they really appeal to. They are from Australia and are supporting the American release of their last album "Themata" which came out originally in 2005.

And I guess they also are a terrific live band.

I was thinking of heading to Madison, Wi to see them, but a MN was just announced today thankfully.

Never heard of them.. But this is the weirdest tour ever... They come to florida 4 different times! LOL Bands usually don't come down here at all!

I will check them out. I might go to either the Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach or Pt. St. Lucie dates if I like them! :p

this tour kicked off last night. Anyone planning on going?

The Great American Rampage Kicks Off Tonight!

The most highly anticipated metal tour of the fall, "THE GREAT AMERICAN RAMPAGE" kicks off its path of destruction tonight at Revolution in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Set to run until the end of 2007, "THE GREAT AMERICAN RAMPAGE" features one of the most action-packed lineups in recent memory.

Presented by BIELER BROS. RECORDS, this year's inaugural "RAMPAGE" is co-headlined by metal-fan favorites, NONPOINT (New album, "Vengeance" out November 6th) and the kings of Ragga-Punk-Metal, SKINDRED (New album, "Roots Rock Riot" in stores now). Supporting the headliners will be none other than Ozzfest breakout band, ANKLA, with Aussie award winners, KARNIVOOL rounding out the spectacular line-up.

A complete listing of current tour stops for "THE GREAT AMERICAN RAMPAGE" can be found at the brand new "Rampage" E-Card.

Wow, cool band! I've heard the name, but just not listened. Some parts of the songs remind me of Hypnogaja, but that's a very good thing in my book! I'd be going to their show for sure, but the closest is Jacksonville, MS. I'm surprised they are playing the Orbit Room in Grand Rapids.. that place is usually reserved for bands the size of Megadeth and In Flames. Then again, Grand Rapids is hurting for a place that hosts touring bands, even since Ten Bells closed it's doors. ....sorry, just rambling now!

"Themata" is a great song!
