dudes i have done a review some time ago:

how should i begin? how can i begin? such a fragil subject... face it, depression on my coutry (Portugal) was said to be one of the most deadly diseases... weird... really sad people are labelled with depression, if its that way why arent happy people called sick too?... weird
since the first time i heard Katatonia with their "Im Nothing" and "Sulfur", something stroke me... such sorrow, such pain, such... depression. first i though they were a new band, because with so sad songs i thought Renske and Nystrom where almost blowing their brains off... unless they where acting, but they are not, they are being themselves. i dont know if im the only person around here that has a great connection with this band, hope not...
about "Last Fair Deal Gone Down", the last Katatonia album, this guys are just great on the perfecting themselves album after album with each new record they release being better than the last. Teargas was the chosen song to kill the ansiety that was roaming the air, well this is an authentic pearl of melodic sensibitily, deep, enveloping and so intense as the painfull message portraited on the lyrics. "Teargas" spills dispair on talked tears by Jonas Renske who's singing even better. Anders Nystrom continues creating those simple, pure, beautiful and catchy riffs, that melt our hearts so easily... "Last Fair Deal Gone Down" is that, a parasit of those penetring emotions that have to remain hiding silent... cause Katatonia willl never reach mainstream, cause mainstram people are too happy to perceive what the world its like...
DONT FORGET to get "sulfur" and if you have time "March 4"
