I really like it, as I think it's another evolution in sound for the band. Then again, I've become a pretty big Katatonia fan over the past year or so after thinking for a long time that they were solid but unspectacular.

I am a huge Katatonia fan and I think the band blew their load on TGCD. They need to just wait another 4 years before putting out another album and focus on writing quality songs. It's alright, but not what I was expecting from such an incredible group.

Definitely not their best, but I still like it. I am biased though, for I'm sure they could put anything out and I'd like it.

"Forsaker" is probably my favorite track off that album.

I didn't really enjoy it. I haven't really enjoyed Katatonia since LFDGD, to me from Viva onwards they lost their edge, especially with Nystroms' riffs; it kind of went from very nice sad leads to a bit chugga chugga.

This thread comes at a "great time". I dismissed this album as boring and dull from its release date until a week, or two ago. Was caught in a Katatonia phase and gave it another shot. Now I f*cking love it! (Which surprises me, based on how little I liked it 'till now.) Overall, a great release and a tremendous comeback (Cold Distance was just....DULL).

I was really psyched for this but I found that even though it was a grower it never grabbed me like so much of their other stuff, and it has just slipped by somewhat for me while slightly tarnishing my opinion of their recent output (and I used to think every single thing they has released was killer)

I think it's another voice in the band's development. Besides, I have become a very big fan in the past year or so Katatonia after a long period of time, they are solid, but interesting thought...
