They actually very cute, not my cup of tea though.
But I wouldn't say they're metal.
Come to think about it... what are the criteria that define metal? (Personally I have no Idea, Usually judge by the way my guts react to the music).
talking about oriental metal, totally worth checking out: Healer (part, or all canadian... dunno, The bio is a bit bopring to read...)

Anyways, for those who are not familiar with their work, It is mix of "traditional metal", with world music, and a touch of industrial...quite nice, not too heavy (not heavy at all
).
The male vocals are weak though, and the guitars a tad trivial, nut the female vocalist, the violin ,the percussion and the drumming (no doublebass there,sorry) compensate.
But I wouldn't say they're metal.
