KD does Texas

yeah, he was actually referring to the stl incident at Imo's Pizza. i should've probably explained it better.

*Scene opens at Imo's, 2 blocks from Rocket Bar- Greg, Sam, Toby, Mia have sat down to munch on "st. louis pizza" also known as paper thin cardboard with ketchup and some odd mix of provelone/american cheese. Mia notices there are no napkins and walks up to counter. She begins looking around.*

Guy behind counter: "What're you lookin' for, rice?"
Mia (stunned, and at a loss for what to say): "No, i was looking for the cheese."

this has almost nothing to do with this:
yikes that reminds me of DOLLYWOOD. Such a rascist place, I too was at a lost for words and didn't know wether to laugh or cry...(though taking out a machine gun and killing everyone would have made me feel better :S).

I've gotten used to it and bear it as well as can be expected. I'm quite proud of being able to master the braille keyboard and find my other senses have gotten extremely keen in compensation.

this explains those photos, then...

it wasn't st louis, i think it was the Philly DEP show, and i got it, as evidenced by my first post, although i guess everyone else forgot about that incident. good call-back, though, anti-chair. :)

i actually can't remember if mia told the "chinese bitch" story on the board or over AIM! if it was only via IM stuff or personal conversations, you get double props for obscurity!

and everyone who didn't hear it gets off the hook for getting offended.

Well then that explains what Mia was saying about the shitty cardboard pizza they ate and the rice comment. I arrived at the show with about nine friends something around 10pm-ish. There was still another band to play before Kayo Dot but upon walking in I spotted Mia and Greg and got up the guff (yes the guff, you see normally I'm a bit awkward when it comes to meeting people and I was a bit intoxicated, also it being doubly so when it's a creepy over the internet meet type thing (not so creepy)) to go say hello. I bought a shirt and got to BS with Greg for a bit and I can honestly say I am VERY excited that he mentioned they were going to CiCi's today. Honestly one of my favorite Texas establishments.

The show was amazing. Enough said. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the seven people who I brought who had never really heard Kayo Dot all said they were very impressed and happy they came. The song order I believe was The Antique, Marathon, and yes thank god The Manifold Curiousity. After the show I did introduce myself to Toby as he walked by and BSed with him shortly, again I heard about how DJ fucked a cactus in New Mexico... hah it's really quite an awesome story what with the heating up and all. At that my friends were ready to go so we left (I introduced myself to Sam as we left) and we scurried to our cars in the parking lot and headed back to Denton, smoking on the way out, and possibly because of it we got lost in Fort Worth/Dallas and spent an extra hour in a terrible rain trying to find I-35 (and Whataburger). All in all a great great show.

As for the questions... Alex I asked Greg and Toby about the ISIS show and they both said something along the lines of yea probably and as for the pizza question they both said anything would be great but Forbes should have be cheeseless et cetera.

The crowd was alright. I think I counted around 30+ people in the floor area and there was several people at the bar who got to listen.

Thanks KD and good luck in Houston. Hope the rest of the tour goes well and you make it back home safely.

i think frobes is getting curry potatoes, but i bet he would appreciate cheeseless (and butterless!) pizza as well. and i bet the others wouldn't mind if you got him a delicious broccoli/spinach/tomato/garlic pizza or something.

My personal suggestion for a pizza would be pepperoni and bell (green) peppers. The best... thinking of CiCi's though hah they might be pizza-ed out. Best crappy pizza buffet ever.

I response to Dope: Man so many people hate it and yea it can be awful but for ALL YOU CAN EAT pizza for 4.32 (after tax with water) I don't know... I absolutely love it. In Northern VA we had to drive like an hour to Winchester to get it and we would whenever a chance would show up.
