Kemper's website is down...

What I'd REALLY like to see is a small touring unit, just one U rack space - 19" or even just 9.5".
Doesn't need the profiling capabilities etc, just the possibility to load lets say 10 profiles into it.

+1 Lasse! With all the cool profiles that you can get, I think it would sell very well, especially if it's at a more affordable price point.

I'm thinking the site changes will jack straight into LSD profiles in the cloud.
...and will be available for a nominal fee.

this would change EVERYTHING. not to mention most of the people ive seen in bands only use it for that anyway... haha

main reason the thought got me excited is because they're selling really well as is. most guitarists in bands dont even use the profiling part, so EVERYONE would buy one if it was a 1ru and ~half the price without the profiling part

I've thought about this as well, would be AMAZING.

It'd be awesome, but I wouldn't hold your breath. Profiling uses the same hardware as playing, and profiles take up dick all for memory, so the only things you could downsize end up being the redundant ins/outs and perhaps the buttons and knobs if you were happy to be stuck with the tones as-is once you've dumped them into the road unit.

I just want a fucking librarian/editor.

This would make life more easy, like a lot!
A flawless working and workflow optimized editor would be a dream...

Also a librarian where you can make (your own)folders for Bands/Styles/Guitars and so on would make the amazing unit better and faster, workflow wise.

But I'm reluctant, and while I'm writing this the page is up and running again(and I see no big news)...

So, you don't need the profiling feature (me neither :D), but I presume you want to keep the ability to use the FX loop and the main output / monitor output (so all back connectors remain the same)

The only thing you can get rid off the the "profiling" position of the main knob.

I don't think it is possible ; with or without the profiling feature the hardware is quiet the same, as well as the software ....
