QUIET RIOT Singer Died Of Cocaine Overdose lease Repost

The Associated Press reports that the death last month of Kevin Dubrow, lead singer for the 1980s heavy metal band QUIET RIOT, has been ruled an accidental cocaine overdose.

Clark County coroner spokeswoman Samantha Charles confirmed the cause Monday (December 10) after toxicology results were received.

Dubrow was found dead Nov. 25 at his Las Vegas home. He was 52.

Kevin wasn't a 'chump ' as you say, but just another person who has addiction issues. Some of us have been there and given up our drug uses and abuses but some are not as strong and continue to do bad things that can be detrimental to your health.

Be thankful you don't have an addiction or if you do you can control yourself, been around loved ones smartest people you can think of and still somethings are just too hard to control

Kevin wasn't a 'chump ' as you say, but just another person who has addiction issues. Some of us have been there and given up our drug uses and abuses but some are not as strong and continue to do bad things that can be detrimental to your health.

because of the way he acted in the 80's and doing drugs then most metal heads still thought he was a chump. since the early 90's dubrow has been humble, basically off drugs and took great care of himself. this cocaine death helped to cancel all the greatness he accomplished in the last decade or so. he still is a great singer and every quiet riot album is consistent and great. he's still a legend IMO

I would never berate him, or anybody, for having an addiction,
but damn, doing enough blow @ 52 to od is just too damn sad...
