Kinda OT: Metalocalypse

Anybody see it? It wasnt too funny, but, I laughed at some of the stuff... like, Finntroll's grocery store.

Hopefully it gets funnier

Coolest thing, of course, is the fact "real" metal is being shown on Adult Swim... at least in some fashion... I heard Nevermore and Mike Amott and those two lamewads from Metallica make some appearances here and there.

Should be funny.

They should get Andy and James for season 2... lol.

yeah, i thought it was funny that they're sponsored by krank and gibson. the music is pretty cool too, brenden small is good at lead.

I saw it and while there were some funny parts, I think that it's a little too "out there." I think that it would have been funnier to go the Tenacious D approach, of a band that thinks they're the best in the world, but is just struggling to get by.

Yeah, I agree... it should come down a notch... somewhere between Beavis and Butthead and Tenacious D would be perfect... let's give them a bit of time to see if they can iron it out...
