what would be a good starter king crimson album?
i've always wanted to listen to his stuff, but wasn't sure what to start with.

Totally amazing band! No shame exciar28, I've only known them for a couple of months as well, though I've been thinking about getting into them for years (always takes time to delve into huge-repertoire-bands). I also agree with Capeda, Schizoid is my least favorite from In the Court... S&BB is my favorite up to now (so tortured!) though Easy Money is easily my favorite KC track altogether.

That sucks that Trey left the band, but King Crimson has always been about evolution anyhow. I'm sure any replacement will be wondrous.

I started with Larks' Tongues in Aspic (which is my favorite), but I usually recommend Red for Crimso beginners, as it's easy to get into.

I still haven't really gotten into Larks yet. Red, Islands, and of course ITCOTCK are all marvolous
