King Diamond-Abigail II

Has anyone heard this album yet? Does it live up to the original Abigail?

Nope, i haven't heard the whole album yet, but i have ordered it.
I have heard three songs from it and kicks ass.
May not be a continual musically of Abigail, but its still very good!

never understood what's the big deal with king diamon....it's so mediocre singer....I just can think that it's the loooong time he has been on the scene now, I can't find other reason....
reminds me of kiss (not musically but being some kind of cult band)
he can't growl, he can't sing high properly....can't see it, and I can assure you I've been trying hard!

He's a great singer. Have you ever heard of a Falsetto???? That's why it sounds to you he can't sing that high. Big deal if he doesn't growl. You judge a singer on if he can growl or not? Jeez.

nope, but I've always seen falsetto as what useless singers try to get Kiske's ways (IMHO of course)
and well at least if he could growl properly I would have a better vision of him....but it's all about tastes, I know!

This new album is great! The booklet art, the music, the athmosphere:
everything!

One of my favourite bands of all time, definitely!

I love the new King Diamond album. It's not as good as the original Abigail or Them but it is STILL a high caliber album. Probably the best he has put out in recent memory, at least since The Eye.

If you are an inkling of a fan of old King material, definitely get this one.
