Nah, same band different song. The song from the movie was called Dream Warriors, the one we were quoting was Into The Fire. I happen to know that Black 13 is NOT a Dokken fan!

you may have thought i was on crack but here you go

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093629/alternateversions

"On the re-mastered VHS, and the DVD versions, when Kristen cranks up the radio at the beginning, the song being played is different from the old VHS versions. The old VHS versions had an unknown speed-metal song. The new VHS and DVD song is Dokken's "Into The Fire", which has always been listed at the end credits and was the song featured in the original theatrical release."

i only remember that because we went to a real crappy hood to see this movie and when that song came on we gave the horns (laughingly) and some guy behind us went "man them white boys is crazy" we were pretty fucked up. :kickass:

I believe it WAS the last tour with the original members...so technically, they weren't lying!  Unlike Ozzy who said he was going to retire from touring in the early 90's. (I saw him back then with Alice In Chains and Sepultura)

They were a decent hard rock band on there first two releases then after the Tooth and Nail tour ended in 1985 they went down hill fast like shitty hair band similar to how Priest released that crappy album and Jonhnie B Goode cover :ill: :Puke:

hey so i posted this thread and then i wrote on my calander that the movie was showing tonight. i got out of work a half hour early and drove across nashville. waited in line about 200 people deep to get to the box office and when i said "2 for the kiss movie" the pimply faced kid behind the counter looked at me like i had 3 eye balls. "sir that was showing yesterday only"

so i think that covers me for the assclown of the month award. not as bad as when i got a group of people together to go see "snocore" with system of a down. on the day of the show i couldn't find my tickets. i tore the whole house a part. never found them and the show was sold out. everybody went with out me.
