KISS ALIVE AT THE MOVIE THEATERS

I saw them in 2000 when they announced the FINAL FAREWELL TOUR with all the orignal members.... Ted Nugent opened. Gee i guess therre still on that tour

I saw them then too thinking they were for real.. I find it pathetic that they are still on that tour with a total different cast. They were great in the 70's but I have no use for them now.. They look ridiculous and have made themselves into a joke.. My favorites are Ace, Gene, Peter, then Paul who I really cannot stand. So all that is left for me is Gene and he is kinda lame these days too.

That being said, I did by the Kiss Collection DVD on Halloween and it is great. It' slike 5 hours PLUS a bonus disc all from 74-77. I haven't even cracked the second disc yet!

You may be happy to hear that Ace Frehley MAY be rejoining KISS for a 2007 tour! I say "may" because they are still just talking about it. I would love to see this happen and also bring in Peter Criss!
Also, the DVD set is awesome!!!

Yes, I would definately be happy!!!!!!

Easy now...you're gonna start a re-union bashing fest!!!

Don't get me wrong, I love OLD Kiss.. not many bands in the 70s that had the fuckin balls they did... BUT... how many "reunion/farewell tours can one band legally have? There should be a law passed..

I hereby declare any band that calls their tour the "farewell tour" is NOT allowed to tour anymore. If found guilty of touring or even THINKING about touring AFTER their "farewell tour" each member of the band AND their management will have their hands pushed slowly into a disk sander until nothing but bloody stumps remain. :Puke:

That'll be my campaign when running for president/prime minister/king/dictator of whatever country... :worship:

How many damn farewell tours has Ozzy had? At least four!:hypno: On his first one I bought a shirt that had the lyrics of 'Diary of a Madman' on it. For his encore he showed the video for 'Mama, I'm Coming Home'. I love both KISS and Ozzy but if I ever see them again it will b/c of some festival event.

KISS, to my knowledge only had one "Farewell Tour". They continued to tour after that, sut didn't call those tours "Farewell Tours".
If Ozzy had retired after the "No More Tours" tour...there would have been no Ozzfest, no Black Sabbath Reunion, and may new bands never would have been given a chance.
While I agree that bands shouldn't just throw around the term "Farewell Tour", I don't really want these two acts to go away any time soon!
