You know Carnut, one of these days, in the next couple of years maybe, you will see me there. I have ALWAYS been interested in the European festivals. I love Europe generally speaking, but ever since I was a kid I've had dreams of coming over just for such occasions. Jethro Tull in England last year was a start, but I fully expect to take in something like Keep it True in the next 2 to 3 years.

Also, at Blind Guardian the other night I saw a guy with a KIT shirt from '05. All the way over the ocean......

It's a sad thing this planet is way too big for us !! It's a pretty big effort indeed to travel overseas, and the money involved... Prey with me I win the lottery this weekend and you all are invited :headbang:

Has to be said though, if any of you ever concider visiting a concert in Europe, the KIT festival has that very special oldschool vibe. I guess no where else you see that many dedicated oldschool fans in one place.

Really? o_O How difficult is to get a passport in USA? Here is simple but damn tedious because of the terrible management of the Migration Office which makes the whole passport affair a sheer torture (and I have to change mine in February since it expires in August).

For me the worst part will be the renovation of my US-visa (also due before August 2007), now it goes around $114 (win or loose, you pay and then pray) and also needs to have an appointment and pass through the "grinder" at the USA embassy :ill:

I just remembered all this, and I want to go to Atlanta

I'll have to look for close hotels in the area this time...
