Kontakt problem at mixdown

I've been working with this problem for a few weeks, but I would reaaalllyy like to get it actually figured out. It seems like whole sections of the song are not triggering. Any ideas?

Mapping issue maybe, give us a little more info

not much more to add, really. normal playback is fine, but at mixdown it plays fine for a bit, drops out, comes back, and drops out again. this happens even when kontakt is the only thing running, and cpu never goes over like 10%
