Korn Blames Piracy For Last Album's Bad Sales

~Well, let's put it this way. Let's say that the Testament album gets finished next month, and unbeknownst to the band it ends up being readily available to be burned weeks before it even comes out. How many of you here will actually buy it for the asking price after that?

Dude I would so buy the cd afterwards. Downloading the cd doesn't give you the artwork nor the smell of a new cd (I love that smell). Also I think it is showing respect to a band you like.

:zombie: Are you serious Mattias? I listened to two songs off of it... and was absolutely disgusted... they suck even more than they used to (but at least Davis is starting to learn how to sing).

I don't mind it too much (of course I ain't buying the damn thing!). You just gotta open up yo mind man, or something! Sure it's gay that kids like it, but I'm sure if, say, Testament released the same album you'd listen to more than two songs without any prejudging and not just dismiss it immediately.

Dude, you got it all mixed up... I used to listen to Korn, then I opened my mind, and now I listen to real music... Korn isn't metal. Okay, it's partially metal, but it's also about half-pop. And Jonathan Davis fucking sucks ass at singing (not as bad as he used to). I just never knew that before.

Oh well... just opinions... but Korn are -not- a very talented band (okay their drummer thinks up cool stuff some times). They kinda pioneered their own gay little style, but it's definitely not for me (anymore at least).

Obviously Korn just sucks, they always sucked, and now people are starting to finally realize it. And the posers that did listen to them are now listening to the new hip gay bullshit that is out so korn has lost all the attention. As far as burning cd albums that is bullshit because no one i know has ever burned a cd. I own all original copies of the albums i have. I have only once burned an album because so little fuck stole my megadeth so far so good so what? cd so i downloaded the album because i could not find a store that was selling it. And if you do not believe me i will show you the reciept that i still have when i bought the cd. So i think that i have the right to burn that one cd. Which i DID pay for.

Lol noone ever burns cd albums?? My bro has at least 50 albums burned; he has never bought an actual cd. And there are many more like him who have also burned many more cds than him. When stuff is (almost) free, ppl take it...
