KSE/TOG clean guitar effect!?

how do this airy and floating sound!?
i think some notes are reversed and mixed to the original,
everytime i try to do this it sounds very disjointed...FAIL!

i think there's also some kind of "small speaker" effect to get this
"telepone like vocals/guitars" tried to cut the low and hi frequencies
but EQ does not seeem to do the job very well...

I use izotope vinyl for that kinda phone sound.
It does it very good and it's free too

i've been using izotope vinyl for years now but i never had the idea to try it in this case.
i always used it to ake my acoustic songs sound olllllddddd!

I love the way Adam handles any lofi sounding stuff. I would also be interested in knowing what could get sounds closer to these. Especially with vocals.
