Label remix job, Paramore-esc.

Got a job to remix this album by a band in New Mexico. Had to replay guitars, bass, and my wife did all the harmonies as there were none. No producer in sight apparently. Anyways. I did it all minus recording. Reamps were a Marshall JCM2000.

I would kill the pretty nasty line noise in the guitars in the beginning.

The bass has a hint of boxiness and honkiness in there. Sounds like too much DI was blended in to whatever was used to me.

The drums and vocals sound real cool (but the vocals are too up front to me) and the guitars work for the track. The overall frequency balance is great, as is the punch of the mix.

I would try to get more room mic in the drums and bring the toms in- they are a bit wide for my taste.
