I just listened to it last night. IMO, "Sacrament" is LOG best album ever.

Only LOG album I heard was New American Gospel. Someone gave it to me because I was helping out his local metal Poromotions company a while back and he wanted me to be more "underground metal".

Hated the CD, some of it was decent but the vocals just took me out of it. The intro to Black Label was wicked, got my hopes up for the rest of the song.

I have avoided LOG from this day forth, especially because the abreviation to their name means a dead rotting tree.

I just got the new Guitar World with them interviewing Willie and Mark from LOG about their new album/sound/direction/ect. Says they have a slow song in the album, and more streamlined songs. They credited them for being the headlight of the New Wave Of American Heavy Metal, but wasn't the NWOAHM back when Slipknot and all those nu-metal bands came out?

New Wave of American Metal is somthing different that I don't know too much about. I don't like the Genre but its much better than Nu Metal. I think Unearthed is calssified as NWOAHM, stuff like that .

The NWOAHM is bands like Shadows Fall, Killswitch Engage, Trivium...all those crappy metalcore bands that have come out in the past few years.

New LOG album = pretty sweet. Nothing groundbreaking, but any worries about them getting soft are dispelled. This is a pretty heavy album, especially the lead single "Redneck", which is one of the album highlights.

LOG? Nu-metal? Bullshit. I liken them more to metalcore, though they're not even really that. They're sort of stripped down prog metal.

The problem with LOG is that they have very little variety in their music. From their first album to this one, they haven't changed their sound much. I hope they don't end up like Slayer.

Yeah, that's why I don't love every song from every album. But the songs I like, I love. Most of AotW though, are simply brilliant. Definately my fave album by them. I'm only fond of a few songs off of AtPB and the 1st one.
