Lamb of God....

Ive seen Trivium live too many times, and ive heard all the stuff. I dont like any of the albums, but i know Shogun is naff and not as good as The Crusade. I say not as good... i still hated them both.

You speak slanderous lies. Long time Trivium fan, but really, The Crusade was shit, in every way. Shogun wanks all over it. In many ways.

But yes, not a fan of Redneck as a song anymore, too 'commercial' in a way. Too happy haha. Blacken The Cursed Sun is my favourite track from Sacrament by far! On Wrath everyone seems to love Fake Messiah and I hate that song, personal top 3 are Grace / Broken Hands / Contractor probably!

Lamb Of God are one of the best live bands I've ever seen and I pretty much love every album, with AOTW more than likely being my favourite and I love the old BTP stuff as well, so yeah, pretty great all round band in my opinion.

What did everyone make of Wrath?

I thought Wrath was great. Reclamation, Grace, Contractor, Set to Fail, In Your Words, Choke Sermon..... *shiver* Hell yes! :kickass: Not too keen on Dead Seeds, or Fake Messiah though.... Worst part about the album though, is that I DIDN'T WIN A FUCKING BARBEQUE >:O

I didn't like Wrath very much and I don't know why, I still listen to it once in a while but it didn't have the same impact on me as AOTW and Sacrament, Contractor and Grace are my favorite songs from that album.

And is it just me or Chris Adler has not been very creative since AOTW?

If this thread is gay, then why are you wasting your time posting here?

Exactamundo.

On the topic of Chris Adler, I personally think his drumming has improved a lot, he is a very creative drummer I just don't think this was fully shown in Wrath, sadly for me as I adore his drumming. Which I gushed at him when I met him, he's an inspiration to me haha. :worship:

Or something like that.

The mere mention of Trivium (that doesn't ivolve laughing at them) immdiately makes a thread gay. Its a new law of earth that I've enforced. GWAHAhAHAAAAAAA!!

Well I say your rule is gay and by enforcing it you become, by default, the campest of camp gay ladyboys. So there.

Lamb Of God are good and so are Trivium in my opinion.

Fuck Trivium

Bunch of metalcore poser emo faggots....their music sucks too.

Their music does indeed suck, but all due credit to COrey and Travis for being brilliant musicians, they just happen to be in an awful band. If Corey left Trivium and started a death-thrash band he'd be fucking incredible, but alas...

Oh yeah because everything about Trivium is so emo. Fucking idiots.

Though there are plenty of reasons why this is laughably false, Dying In Yours Arms and This World Can't Tear Us Apart in particular completely negate your point.

I don't even think it's worth me wasting my time haha, you simply believe what you want, it is nothing I will care about. Are you trying to say that Trivium are the only band to have ever wrote a 'ballad' style song in metal? No they aren't, give it up man, you don't like them, I get it, but they are not an emo band.

He needs to stop saying "Legendary" because they aren't. And never will be.

God I hate him.

Ballads only work in metalif they're done right - see Testament and Heathen for prime examples. Trivium may have done 'ballads' but jesus christ, they're terrible songs. And denying they're emo - even if only a little - after hearing those two is like denying Cannibal Corpse is death metal. You got your opinion and I got mine, I think they fucking suck and you love 'em, thats fine. But that doesn't mean that they're a band with emo appeal, because they are. FACT.

ANYWAY, for everyone else - Storytime! Although I think I've told this on here before.

A friend of mine got kicked off their tour bus in 2005 because he was turning on Matt Queefy's groupies and he got jealous. I shit you not!

I got Ashes of the Wake and Sacrament a few weeks ago, Ashes is just amazing. Still need as the Palaces Burn though, and maybe New American Gospel....

EDIT: Also, if you wanna argue about Trivium, make a Trivium topic >.> Thanks!

I agree
They're both constrained by staying in Trivium
