FIRST THINGS FIRST!

Legendary DEAD director George Andrew Romero has finally obtained funds to start shooting the 4th episode of the LIVING DEAD saga. Workings will start in october 2004, and the movie will hopefully show up in 2005!!!

So, now here's my purpose to make some sense: since the fakey resident evil thingie has got those cheesy mainstream bands on the soundtrack...what about some REAL BAND to do the SOUNDTRACK for the REAL LIVING DEAD???????????

I am gonna suggest this to Mr. Romero himself soon.

I'd love to hear THESE BANDS on his next movie:

SADUS - TESTAMENT - PRONG

I wait for some suggestion...!

:headbang:

TestAmenT-Sadus-Overkill to combine your lists then :)
And may I add some more... Heathen, Dark Angel. I hope Mr. Romero listens to your suggestions, Max. :)

Maaaan, I really hope that TOO!!!! :D Let's just see what happens!

Wow Dark Angel are still together? I thought they split up some years ago!
Anyway I think that this thing is all about timing, it would be good for a thing like "pushing" new stuff from the bands, and it would be perfect cuz SADUS and TESTAMENT have new albums that are gonna be released in late 04 - early 2005 and to have the new music on the movie, that would be killer for everybody involved, bands and movie producers. Lemme just try!

BTW: TLwebmistress, whaddya think?

DA got back and are planning to release an album... I hope. Same with Heathen. As for Overkill, well, they always have a new record + some "experience" in horror movie soundtracks. :) That's why I listed them.
Your idea is really interesting and I hope you'll keep us updated on the progress.

Thanx for the encouragement!!! I really hope that something happens. My friends on the Homepage of The Dead are all metal fans. This thing HAS to happen!!! I will try my best!

WOW and DA got back together...with Gene Hoglan on drums??? Wow they had some "zombie" song back in the days didn't they??? But which band didn't, back in the days???
It would just be killer...let's TRY!!!

I'll keep u updated!

cheerz!

Man, sorry for the late. I had a hard time around firing one of the musicians I played with and, hey, depressing time going on. I think I'm in for some news. Anyway I was thinking about the whole thing. I still hope that there are fans interested in this! But I wouldn't never like to SUGGEST Mr. Romero what he has to do. It's more just like writing down a line to say "hey, these guys are killer. IMHO, they would be perfect, in the case, give it a hear!", something like that. I really love Romero's worx and he is always SO KIND with fans, I know for sure he'll reply kindly enough and then, if the target isn't obtained, I know for sure he'll have a good time in listening to the bands...:)

Yeah, 'hunger of the undead'. I hope it wasn't a VAMPIRE thingie at all, I couldn't remember about those lyrics anyway... and...well TESTAMENT has COTLOD, and SADUS had UNDEAD back in the day...:Spin:

Hey I hope that Thraxx man has noticed this NOW! :D

Cheerz!

Max

You're absolutely right about the way you should introduce Mr. Romero to these bands (never force anyone to do anything) and may your depressing time end very soon. <I'm going away now and will be back in two weeks to find out what you will have achieved. Good luck again>

Ciao everybody!!!!

Well i got any kind of answer from the team that's working with GAR so I believe that the guys are quite busy. Anyway, it was fun to try and well, i will hugely enjoy the new flick ANYWAY of course!!!!!

Hands down, GAR RULES and so does SADUS, TESTAMENT, and all of the other mentioned!!!

CHEERS!

metal and living dead fans UNITE!!!
CIAAAO!

yep mr. Priest of evil, it will be rewarded! ;)

Cameron Romero, son of George himself, answered me on the Q&A section of the other big project of GAR, DiamondDead.com, and well the man was really kind, I kinda expect an answer to my personal mail. He pulled in that the studio that owns the right on the movie will handle most of the movie out. Casting too, and guys you all know this sounds ridiculous as Christine Forrest always handled that herself in the BEST WAY ever. I really keep my fingers crossed about this. I highly doubt that they will choose a band like SADUS or TESTAMENT... anyway he also told me that a Q&A section to LAND OF THE DEAD will be opened sooner or later on the official www.georgearomero.com site, as a portion of that. I invite you all to show some support ASAP in order to see things happen the right way. I'll link you the way to the site when it'll be possible.

GO GEORGE ANDREW GO!

CHEERZ to u all!
