LAST DAY FOR HOTEL BLOCK ROOM RATES

Hey All.

I am handling the hotel block for NMF. There will be two blocks as there are two large conventions in town that weekend and they are filling much of the area hotels.

You will simply call yourselves in to book, but we're negotiating a group rate hopefully to discount the rates. Both blocks are being finalized as I type this and I should have descriptions, distances and general info up for booking in the next day or two.

Room space is limited, so getting yourselves booked early will be important if you want to take advantage of this extra offering Nightmare is making available to you. I will expand the block if possible when it fills. One of the hotels is already nearly full since we have all the bands in one location.

Well, since it's up- haha.
The two hotels I am working with are the Red Roof Inn and the Hampton Inn. I have the Hampton down to $135 regardless of occupancy. Unfortunately, as of right now there are no doubles available. A few may come up in the coming weeks and I am in line to pick up any roomspace that becomes available under our rate. We will have Kings w/sleeper sofas available and straight Kings available.

The Hampton is nice and includes net access, parking and breakfast.
I have never been to the RRI but am finalizing numbers with them. Most RRIs are pretty much the same.
Both hotels are very close to the venue.

Booking should be available in the next 48 hours or so.

The Red Roof Inn is sending over their contract, as is the Hampton. All bands are at the Hampton. These bookings ought to be available by tomorrow. I will have codes/block names posted as soon as I have them in hand.

The Hampton is $135/night includes their full continental breakfast (which at Hampton is usually nice), free parking, free internet in all rooms. $135 covers all people in the rooms.

The Red Roof Inn is $89.99 for double double *up to four people* and $98.99 for the King. (a savings of $10 from the net rate for individuals)
The lite continental breakfast is included (muffins, coffee, juice and fruit), free parking but internet is $9.99

I'm still trying to drive the Hampton down some more, but I've already got them down $30-50 depending on roomspace- If it doesn't happen it's still a hell of a deal for that hotel, just really hoping to get it lower still before I finalize the contract. Crossing fingers.

Are those rates refundable or nonrefundable at the Hampton?

Cancellation policy at the Hampton is 72hrs, with a full refund of any deposits.

Cancellation at the RRI is they have a one-night deposit fully refundable up until 4pm the day of arrival.
