LAST PART OF THE TWO LAST NIGHTS WITH THE BOYS

SAXONATOR

Crazy even without Drugs
so here i am again. the last 2 days were very busy for me so i am a little late to finish my review. but here it comes.

now it´s time to go loooong back in time. it was last saturday - the day of the last saxongig in 2005 for everyone:

snow fell from the sky and we prayed that the weather wouldn´t get worse so we would reach osnabruck in time. we had 150 km to go and we left home at about 04:30 pm. after 50 kilometers the trip had an sudden end. the cars stood on the A43 because a car crashed into another one which was cross-standing after a kiss with a lorry. we stood about 400 m behind the accident place and there was no way to pass through this. and this is how i looked like as we stood there:

we always drive very early but this time it was very close. it took about 1,5 hours until we could pass the crash. the car which stood across the motorway first was pushed by the other that heavy that it looked like it exploded. the roof had to be cut off so that the fire brigade could salvage the co-driver. it was a wonder that no one died. here is a link to the article in german language: bad foreplay.

so we drove the rest as far as we could and luckily reached the -----><----- just in time.

this time no saxonfan - no Paxoman - no saxonmckenz - no Sammi951 - no GOSS were there to join us. some day i will make an international saxonparty if the money is right to have you all together. there are so many names which can be read here in the forum regularly of which i am sure that they are the most correct people on this planet who deserve such. :headbang:

so it was at 09:something pm and götz kühnemund - one of the rock-hard-magazine-bosses climbed on the stage and made an intro to the last saxongig on this anniversary tour. he said that aftershows there is again a little saxon-disco-party as they made it on most of these gigs before. but now we realised that this evening would be the last night out with the boys.

now it began. suddenly the stage stood in flames and the ground shaked. the lights threw a shine of blood and fire into the crowd and made us getting fu..ing craaaaaaazyyyyyyyyyy.

me and götz at a bar after the show. he has a hard grip as you can see :) . he said that he will not be with saxon in the future because he was only with them for this tour but he is looking forward to see them on future rock hard festivals.

we met doug aftershows sitting on a case looking around so we invited him to our table. we asked if it would be ok to make some photos and he had no problem with it. we talked nearly an hour about everything. we fetched something to eat and i robbed some desperados from the bar for him because doug didn´t like the beer which was for free :) the other saxons were not in sight because the tour was over and they all are heading for their families and just wanted to go home. everyone could understand this. at this time: thanks to doug for the chat-session and especially for the invitation at the end but maybe it will happen next time. we are so sad about it. 1000 beers to england !!!

we love him...

cheers !

so thats all for now and i wish you much fun at looking at the photos. KaMei ? please add the setlist now. thx. :)

greetings to all saxonfans on this planet !

Great Shots!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic reviews/pics as usual Saxonator - your reviews always leave me smiling :)

"because a car crashed into another one which was cross-standing after a kiss with a lorry."

Only you could describe a car crash and make it sound like something nice! :)

I am repeating myself: Very Impressive! Humoristic, nice photo's and good info,... this took a lot of time I suppose? Better than in a magazine .. Well done! Thx Saxonator and Co. Chapeau!!

I disagree! I think your command of the English language is better than most English people's! :)

I really enjoyed reading your review!! The pictures were great too. Since I am new here, tell me, do you try to go to all the concerts? It seems like you have been to quite a few. That's really cool. Also, just wondering who are the people you travel with, are they your family? Sorry to be nosey, but I am a woman afterall!! Like I said, great review and pictures. Thanks!!

:headbang:

well, the fact if we go on saxongigs or not depends on: time - money - weather and the miles to be driven. the motivation is always there but the other things must fit too. so if there´s any chance we´re there :)

no the two girls are not my family. :D we met suzie on a saxongig in the netherlands loooong time ago in two thousand and something and since then we are best friends. we live near to each other and have much time and fun together.

you´re welcome :worship:

next time i have to enlarge our pinwall here. the tickets doesn´t fit any more. there were about 10 gigs for us jst in 2003. i wonder how many saxongigs we had all together but it´s big in numbers and still counting.... i used to listen to saxon (or heavy metal at all) since i was 14 years old and deleted the top hundred charts crap out of my young brain to make place for some serious kind of music. i am happy that i found 2 lovely girls which share my passion and YOU of course. (with "YOU" all people who read this are meant) :worship:
