its a good idea use a clap sound mixed with the snare???

I know it is used a lot on 80´s electronic music... but in metal???

( For 80´s style metal, with a lot of gated reverb )

I have just try it!! The effect is very similar to mix the snare with pink/white noise (by sidechain)
