Layne Staley

TD is that you?

KISS are soft rock. TO ME.
I'm so sorry I screwed up my dates on that old assed megadeth thread. We've already been through this.
If you OD then you're a complete moron. W/ no value of life.
And everyone on OZZFEST sells out when they sign the dotted line for Sharon.

That is MY logic, if you don't like it - choke on shit.
Sooooooo KISS are soft rock compared to Aerosmith?
John Belushi, Bon Scott, John Bonham are all loser because their vices got the best of them.
Your logic fails me.
And I won't choke on shit, because I won't be going to the fast food restaurant at which you work.
Opinions are one thing, but when you state them like they are some kind of fact, and can't back it up with any credible evidence, then you start to look rather asinine.

Greg, I may agree with you on a lot of things, but Layne was not a waste of flesh. The man had a way with words like almost no other and he could write some amazing shit. Almost anyone could relate to his lyrics. And the last few years he was a social hermit. He is missed by me at least.
Ditto. The guy had a sickness. His death is just as tragics as that of Freddie Mercury or anyone else. Mocking his death is inexcusable.

you keep moving higher and higher on my shit list... :yuk:

Like I really give a shit. We agreed to disagree and then you put me on your shit list for voicing the same opinion I expressed to you before.
Keep me on your shit list.
Anyone else want to put me on their list, iggy or shit, please feel free.

If my opinions too damned strong then just put me on ignore.

It's fine to voice your opinion, but you needn't be such a dick about it. It was you who seemed to enjoy getting people banned. It seems that if an opinion contradicts yours, you revert to an evasive pejorative stance. And if you are right, it MUST be right.

You just can't see him for what he really was. A smack addict. Their is nothing tragic about it. My uncle on the other hand, being murdered by a meth head in the middle of the street on New Years eve, that's tragic. Addicts are pieces of shit. Learn it.

So by that logic, Dave Mustaine is a piece of shit, as he admits, he is an addict?

I had a guy banned for saying that I fuck my son in the ass. That's not an opinion. That's sick and wrong. You sure know a lot about me for sumone who joined last month. You got a thing for me or am I just that damned fascinating?

Yet you still buy his records?
Are you familiar with the old adage "you can't have your cake and eat it too?"

I like his music. As I like AIC. Does it mean I want to be his pal or a fan that swings from his nuts who will surely praise him IF he dies of an overdose? No.

And for the record, I STEAL his music.

he bought the "encyclopedia gregtanica" :tickled:
At a flea market no less! I was looking for that elusive Megadeth record that Greg's brother gave him in 1982 (as per Greg's claim)! It's funny, you can read Greg like an open book...................

Listen dick, I didn't say 1982. I did piss poor math in my head and gave the wrong amount of years that had passed since that day. Stop hiding behind this new username and tell everyone who you used to post as.

Did someone strike a nerve Gregy? This is an open forum, anyone can read it. So be mindful of what you type, the world is watching (and in this case, probably laughing).
BTW, why call me a "dick." I haven't called you a name.

I'm awefully glad you picked me for your little vendetta. I'll be leaving now so you have a great day and please, feel free to continue your tyraid.

Hey Greg: Hypothetically. What if your son went away to college, and developed a coke habit? Would you label him a "junkie" and shooo him away, or would you get him help?

Out of the "grunge" era of music I liked AIC the best. Yeah he was an addict but we can still wish he was alive and that he was still around to make music for us to enjoy. Just like I wish John Wayne didn't smoke to many cigaretts, and Jame Dean didn't like to drive his car fast, or Bon Scott like the bottle to much, they might of all had it coming in one way or another but there is no reason to belittle how people feel about them now.

...or that mama cass like food to much lol
But anyway I always considered AIC to be more than just grunge. More like grunge/metal or grunge/rock. I could relate to Layne. He and John Bush are my idols. I also considered Nirvana overrated, Kurt had way too much goin to kill himself. Kinda pathetic, but no hard feelings.
