Leads!!!!!!!!!

Ok, this is the lead section of an 80's Thrash kinda song I've written. I tried to keep the leads as thrashy as possible, I'm not a shredder by any meaning of the word, so they're nothing too flashy, please let me know what you guys think.

I love the sound of everything there Stee! For the leads, you seem a little pitchy here and there. But, it does sound like classic thrash soloing. Actually, some nice stuff there. Kind of takes me back. Did I mention I love the sound you've got going there?

Thanks Mark, though I gotta say I'm not 100% happy with the mix, and the leads I may re-record, but stay within the same kinda vein. I might try the Triple XXX again tomorrow as well.

Tone and mixwise it's perfect. Sounds very much like Kirk Hammet black album era. Having said that, I prefer a more dynamic and less compressed tone. Something tells me you used active pickups in the solo Good job anyway.

Something tells you wrong then, I used stock Epiphone pickups, you're probably just hearing the effect of compression on the leads.
