Heehee, lizard doesn't really like Zep but has passion for them. Proof that they rule. :p
I have the ability to see that although there are several hundred CDs I would put on before I would even consider Zep, for their era they towered above much of the competition. Through the 70s and much of the eighties, they were the template for hard rock. it was almost de rigeur for a "metal" singer to be able to duplicate the Plant wail. I mean, look at bands with sizable success like Great White; Jack Russell was a poor man's Robert Plant. And Whitesnake. and Kingdom Come.

But David Coverdale is better looking than Robert Plant ;)

and Ayeka, Schenker is so capable of genius that it pisses me off to see him nowadays, making albums with which for all intents and purposes are with pickup bands. I don't know if his problem is drugs or alcohol or a general mental malaise, but he's just about lost any goodwill I have generated by his genius albums with UFO.
Aye, I hear his latest passion is for multiple acoustic instrumental albums? I wouldn't be surprised if it's all a mixture of alcohol and ego...sounds like me actually :erk:
I still say those first two M.S.G. albums justify his place as a god no questions asked. Pure genius.

goddammit first Columbus has the sniper and now they've just arrested some somali piece of shit who wanted to blow up one of our malls.
my ancestors didn't leave england in 1634 and begin the annhiliation of the indians just to have to put up with sand eaters trying to blow up Nordstroms or something.
fuckers.
:yell: :loco:
dumbass probably listens to Zeppelin because of its north african influence.:loco: :hotjump: :hotjump: :) :yuk:

for some reason, when I think of Led Zep, I always think of that song Misty Mountain Hop, which ruled.

Zep influenced Coalesce, who helped shape "noisecore" (that's right, Zep influenced -core, haha). Coalesce released a 7 song tribute for Zep. Coalesce is better at playing Zep than Zep is. That EP is really good.

I based my decision on the fact that Zeppelin kicked more ass than Sabbath.

Sabbath = :kickass: x infinity
Zeppelin = :kickass: x infinity + 1

infinity is not a number, it is an idea. Mathematically: (infinity) = (infinity) + 1.

please revise your logic :p

I'm serious. and still we put up with this piece of shit in the white house making everything 1000x worse.

This is awesome on so many levels.

NicodemiX, my logic is perfectly valid, especially when using numbers to quantify level of ass kickery in music. :loco:
