as a side note. In college i had a roomate who was all about the rap. I once told him that the words "uh huh" and "yeah" don't count as real lyrics and he got all pissed. of course then he made my life a living hell for the rest of the year but thats really a story for another day.

and i hate p diddy as well but i made sure to stop paying attention to that song and kashmir hasn't been ruined for me as a result.

I have one of those too, except he's only into the rich, white, frat-boy favoured style of rap, which most black people wouldn't accept as "tr00" anyway. Thank goodness that's not the only type of music he likes or I'd die.
