Leverage...WOW!

Just got in Asian copies of Leverage's debut album "Tides". This one is kicking my ass hard. I love keys with my prog metal and this one has it in spades. Brother Firetribe frontman Pekka Heino has a great voice. A nice mix of prog/AOR/melodic metal. Kind of like Finland's answer to Stride.

Leverage, from Finland, plays music at the interface of hard rock and melodic metal, with plenty of progressive elements. To me, the music on Tides sounds similar to Threshold, with a healthy dose of Cloudscape and just a touch of happy feet metal (like Hamka) thrown in. Very nice recommendation by Ken.
