So I returned not long ago from purchasing the Line 6 HD100 valve guitar head, and have logged in roughly an hour of play time. Initial impressions are pure ecstacy. I'm a big fan of the visual aesthetics and love the tones I've thus far achieved. My jaw hit floor immediately following the opening note played through it. I would say that I have never played an amp with this level of clarity, not a tube amp, nor solid state/valve state. Which is not to that there are not amps with better clarity available, just none that I have personally come in contact with. I am definitely looking forward to putting this puppy through its paces.
